Our regular hours are 12 to 5 on Saturdays and Sundays

BUT we will be closed June 22 and 23 while we are in West Side Park at the Taste of C-U — Come over and drink a Lemon Shake-up at our tent near the fountain.

Welcome to the website of the Champaign County Historical Museum! The Museum is located at First and University in Champaign, Illinois. We are a private, non-profit organization and our mission is to discover, collect, preserve, exhibit, study, and interpret artifacts significant to the heritage of Champaign County, Illinois. We provide formal and informal educational programs about the County’s history and the Museum’s collections to interpret that history to the public.
